Our mission at Hattie Ide Chaffee Home is to ensure the best quality care with the finest staff in a nurturing, home-like environment. Our highly trained caregivers respond to the most complex medical problems and we remain dedicated to continuing to meet or exceed the highest standards set by the State of RI, State Medicaid and the Federal Medicare programs. Hattie Ide Chaffee Home complies with all HIPAA guidelines in its daily operations.
We are known for our outstanding staff-to-resident ratio, which results in personal attention for our residents, often exceeding the prescribed care and therapies dictated by benefits or other factors. Our staff and residents develop a strong bond that creates a true family environment and, ultimately, successful healthcare outcomes. Many residents return to us following additional surgeries or when they need care. They recommend us to their family, neighbors, and friends. Our continuity of care — often with the same professional caregivers — provides peace-of-mind for all.

Skilled Nursing

Rehab
Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy. Recuperation after a hospital stay. Whatever your needs, we can help.
Memory Care
We offer an integrated and secure environment where memory-loss residents lead their daily lives alongside residents with no cognitive impairment, believing that such an approach enriches the lives of both groups.
Hospice
Hospice care is provided in collaboration with RI Hospice Providers. Services and support are extended to the entire family, including counseling upon the patient’s passing.
Respite Care
Respite care is a short-term service that allows caregivers and families to take a break from their care giving responsibilities. It provides a time of relief for the caregiver to rest, go on vacation or spend time with other family members.
